Starting now, the One-Stop Integrated Service (PTSP) can already serve the licensing and tomb levy. That means, residents do not have to process it in the mayor office anymore, but in the PTSP which located in each urban village.
"Right now, people can process the licensing and tomb levy in the PTSP. They just show a letter from Public Cemetery (TPU) officer," expressed Head of East Jakarta Cemetery Sub-Department, Mimih Rahmiati, Monday (1/19).

She expressed, through PTSP, locals will be charged in accordance with the Decree of the Local Retribution (SKRD), with details tomb type AA1 Rp 100 thousand per tomb, AA2 Rp 80 thousand, A1 Rp 60 thousand, A2 Rp 40 thousand and A3 free of charge (only prioritized to underprivileged people).
"The policy is set in accordance with SKRD with active period of 3 years. If it is not renewed, the land will be used for other residents," she explained.
It is done because of the lack of land. 28 TPUs in East Jakarta, all units are full and only leaving one empty land at Pondok Rangoon TPU.
"I urge residents living around TPU who have the land should be willing to acquire it," she uttered.
